There’s no pleasing teens, right? Well, that may be true. But when it comes time for their birthday or some other important party, you have to give these teen party ideas your best shot.
We sympathize with those facing that plight. But we also have a few ideas that maybe can help solve your challenge. Before pulling your hair out in frustration, consider these options for your teen party.
Teen Party Ideas
Social Media Party. Yes, they pretty much do this one every day without having a party. However, a social media party is cute idea for teens. You’ll want a photo booth, so everyone can mug for some selfies. And, of course, you will want some insta-graham crackers (that’s a graham cracker covered with frosting and an Oreo on top).
Dance Party in the Dark. You’ll need plenty of glow-in-the-dark decorations for this one. Also, a lighted dance floor, black light and a great music system. Any white-colored food should be on the menu, too, so the food glows like everything else.
Scavenger Hunt. An oldie but a goodie. Have the kids do a scavenger hunt and search for prizes by following clues, just like they do on “Amazing Race.” Provide food at each stop that has an international theme.
Movie Party. You’re one giant movie screen in the backyard away from throwing a great movie party. You’ll want an authentic popcorn machine, of course. You can invite everyone to come dressed as their favorite movie star.
Fun and Games
While the above teen party ideas are great, we all know that teens typically aren’t so great at staying inside for very long (unless they are on their phone).
That’s why it’s important to provide some extreme games at a party. The more, the better. You’ve got plenty of options when it comes to extreme party rentals (and the added comfort of knowing they are all completely safe).
Nothing will please a teen for long. But the following are all-but guaranteed to occupy their time for as long as anyone can reasonably expect.
Criss Cross Collision Course. How about getting everyone into what amounts to a giant, plastic hamster ball and setting them loose around the backyard? The Criss Cross Collision Course allows everyone to race each other, too, which is another important factor (especially among the boys).
Mechanical bull. This one is great because it looks so much easier than it actually is. Staying on a bucking bull is hard. Although, it’s good to know there are a variety of settings based on skill level, so it doesn’t have to be that hard.
Wipeout. This one has got it all. Balancing. Jumping. Crouching. Perfect timing. And, ultimately, getting knocked off your pedestal. This one provides great competition for the kids, and the added bonus of tiring out even high-energy teens.
Those are just some of the top teen party ideas. Let your imagination run free on themes that meet your kid’s interests. As for extreme rentals, you have enough options to find the one that works best for your party.
